Tobias is best known for its IQ150 and IQ200 pressroom densitometers, which will be available from Ripware priced at £1,410 and £1,775 respectively.
Paul Foster, managing director of Ripware, said: "The IQ150 gives you the percentage dot and density, whereas the IQ200 gives you a little more in terms of trapping, hue-error, greyness and contrast."
In a reciprocal deal, Tobias has taken on the US distributorship for the Centurfax Microdot plate quality control tool, which is sold by Centurfax and Ripware in the UK through a jointly-owned company, Centurfax Customised Dotmeters.
Commenting on behalf of Tobias, Bill Bender, sales director, said: "Paul has done an excellent job with regard to the UK sales of plate readers with Centurfax and we are delighted that Ripware has now decided to work with Tobias pressroom products.
"We feel sure that this new partnership will benefit both companies as well as UK printers. In particular, we feel Paul will be of great support to us in the build-up to Drupa 2012 as he has significant experience of showing quality control products at major European exhibitions."
