The accreditation follows the London-based company reaching Green Mark level 2 status and the award of Investors in People this year.
Marketing director Louisa Moger said: "Our team are fully committed to continuous improvement to ensure that Richard Edward continues to meet and exceed the needs of our customers across all of the segments within which we work.
"Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the environmental impact of the products that they buy."
The company said it is the UK's only "fully integrated manufacturer of games and playing cards".
All board products used for creating playing cards and games cards are purchased from Scottish paper manufacturer Tullis Russell, which has just announced plans to create a £100m biomass power plant.
Richard Edward has 47 staff and an annual turnover of £6m. The company has been through a "radical" business improvement programme since 2003, which took the company from a critical loss-making situation to profit in 2005.
