The Leicester-based screen printer has designed the system, which features a Canon imagePROGRAF press ranging from 17-36in in size to deliver halftone screen resolutions up to 72 lines per inch.
The firm claims the system offers inhouse screen stencil production at a fraction of the cost of traditional film stencils, which would require an imagesetter and chemical processes.
The set up uses Canon dye inks, which is said to be more opaque and scratch resistant than film stencils produced on alternative pigment-based printers, ensuring image fidelity when the stencil is exposed onto screen emulsion using UV light.
Each system is calibrated during installation to ensure accurate linearisation and perfect halftones.
Jan Edgecombe, managing director at Revolution Transfers, told printweek.com that the kit would benefit small-format screen printers due to its "consistency, cost effective and time-saving" qualities.
He added: "We're delighted to be the first to market with a bundled, Canon-based screen film stencil production system. As well as being an equipment reseller, we're screen printers so we understand the market."
Revolution Transfers retails the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF500 17'' LFP with FilmGate RIP for £2,995, the 24'' imagePROGRAF iPF600 for £3,995 and the 36'' imagePROGRAF iPF700 for £5,995.
