The Leeds-based print and marketing services company completed the acquisition of Guiseley-based Tebays in August, with the assistance of a funding package from Barclays. It has recently gone public about the deal.
Tebays is split between a print division and an events division and all print-related services have now been absorbed within Resource.
The firm said Tebays’ event management offering has presented it with a new business capability that will further strengthen its creative portfolio of services.
Resource managing director Phil Thompson said: “We’re delighted to welcome the team at Tebays into the Resource group and we’re looking forward to aligning our operations to deliver great value and enhanced services for our clients.
“Both businesses have complementing services incorporating specific areas of expertise. The combined synergies will benefit both our respective client bases and workforces, whilst creating a fantastic foundation to support the future growth of the group.”
10 Tebays staff have moved across to Resource’s premises, taking the company’s total headcount to 55. The deal is expected to take the combined firm’s turnover to over £10m.
Resource was advised on the acquisition by James White and Geoff Thomas of Brown Butler, with legal advice coming from Dave Paterson and Saby Sambhi at Blacks Solicitors.
