Reel Paper ups capacity but not environmental footprint

Paper merchant PaperCo has increased capacity in its reel division, Reel Paper, without adding to its environmental footprint.

Reel Paper has invested in three 26-tonne Tear Drop-format vehicles, replacing three 17.5-tonne trucks.

However, the Tear Drop design means that CO2 emissions are reduced by around 10% and fuel consumption is similar.

Paper marketing manager Ben Woolf said: "We believe that customers will come under increasing pressure from end users to reduce the carbon impact of their printed material."

Reel Paper supplies paper to the business forms, direct mail, envelope, high speed inkjet, label and till roll markets.

Vehicles deliver same day and next day to customers across most parts of mainland UK.
