The Merthyr Tydfil-based printer said it ordered the machines, which will replace two four-year-old models, to take advantage of the latest software and touchscreen enhancements.
Director Darren Roberts said: "We live in an iPhone age where people enjoy working with touchscreen technology. The new operator interface really helps the operator run the machine more efficiently.
"We have specified air tables to the right and left of the cutter, which will make it easier to handle and shift piles and will increase productivity."
Rainbow Print offers book, poster and magazine printing among other services.
