Rail body drops print timetable

The National Railway Timetable Board has stopped the publication of its printed book of timetables.

Printed by Benhamgoodheadprint, the May 2007 edition of the National Rail Timetable will be the last printed version.

This follows a large decline in demand, from sales of 134,000 in 1994, to just 20,000 currently, of which around two-thirds are sold to the public.

The National Rail Timetable will now only be available online at Network Rail’s website. Go to www.
