The two-year agreement covers 13 RAC group companies, including RAC Auto Windscreens, Lex Vehicle Leasing and Hyundai cars.
Radius Management Services managing director Ray Schofield said that the company offered a unique proposition as it charged a flat fee, rather than a percentage, and was completely independent.
"We are not a printer or a print broker. We work with major organisations to improve how they manage and buy print. RAC is convinced that we can help the business achieve better value, quality and service," said Schofield.
The company was appointed by RAC earlier this year to make recommendations on how to improve efficiencies to its print procurement.
The type of products required by the RAC group includes business cards, letterheads, brochures, continuous stationery and PoS materials using digital, sheetfed, web and screen processes.
"The print companies invoice directly to RAC. Our role is to make sure that the right prices are charges. Printers effectively compete on service," said Schofield.
Radius Management Services has a team of four dedicated to the RAC contract.
The value of the contract runs into "many millions", but Schofield, who was formerly the purchasing director at Wace and head of print and packaging for Asda, declined to divulge its exact value.
