The 50-year-old company signed for the machine at an open day at the manufacturer's Creative Centre in Cleveland to broaden its offering to include labels, stickers and decals.
The company had already moved from traditional offset litho into promotional and textile products, as well as display, canvas and CAD work.
Managing director Danny Frayne said: "The Vs-640 has opened brand new avenues for us, and currently we're using it to print banners, industrial and commercial labels and other applications such as window graphics.
"It has allowed a large number of jobs to be brought in-house which, formerly, we had to outsource. This not only speeds up turnaround times but also gives us absolute control over all aspects of an order."
The 1.6m-wide printer uses Eco-Sol Max inks and includes a software suite that enables jobs to be processed remotely.
