According to the company, the ability to use white expands its product offering, which includes vehicle and window graphics, labels and stickers, while cutting features mean products such as decals can be printed, laminated and put back through the Roland machine to be cut.
Owner Dan Rye said: "We produce a considerable amount of window graphics using static cling specialist films, for both the retail and domestic markets. The fact that we can achieve stunning results using a relatively low-cost wide-format inkjet printer appealed enormously."
The machine, which was supplied by Spire Digital Solutions, also includes Roland Intelligent Pass Control for variable dot size to create smooth gradations and strong solid colours, necessarily to help achieve colour consistency for health and safety signage.
