The 50,000 filtration kit separates contaminants from the pressroom chemistry, allowing 90% to be reused, saving on chemical and waste recycling costs.
Eco.clean will reduce the firm's chemistry bill from around 40,000 to 6,000 per year. According to the firm, the kit will pay for itself within 18 months.
"We are buying eco.clean because of the cost savings and because we are clean, environmentally aware and want to reduce the level
of waste we produce," said production manager Rob Shaw.
The Stockport-based firm, which produces brochures and promotional work, will run eco.clean on its six-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102.
