It upped third-quarter net income by 12m to 33m (C$72.5m).
Revenue rose nearly a third to 1.22bn for the quarter, including a 1.08bn contribution from printing arm Quebecor World, which recorded earnings before interest, tax and amortisation of 192m, up 43% from the same time last year.
During the period, Quebecor World signed a 10-year 110m deal with South American publisher Editoria Abril and announced the building of a new Brazilian printing plant.
Quebecor also said printing was benefiting from "remarkable synergies" following its merger with World Color.
For the nine-month period the group's net income rose over a third to 72.5m with revenues close to 3.6bn, up nearly 50%.
