The London-based company, which was also recently awarded FSC and PEFC certification, is also working on securing the ISO14001 environmental standard by the end of the year.
Paul Manning, account director at Printflow Limited, said: "We needed to set ourselves apart from your general printer.
"By introducing ISO9001, it'll help us go for more government tender contracts to complement out existing line of work." he said.
The 45-staff printer anticipates to have sealed ISO14001 by the end of 2008 and is carrying out a raft of measures that include recycling waste paper, plastics, chemicals and toner, in addition to offering both FSC and PEFC stock.
Manning said: "Print is changing. We need to go for more contract work and by building up our credentials, we can be more competitive."
The printer runs both litho and a digital setup that includes Xerox DocuTech 6180, iGen3 and DC8000AP machines. It was established in 1986 and has a turnover of £4.5m.
