Simon Plant and Daniel Plant of insolvency practitioner SFP Restructuring were appointed as joint administrators of Lansdowe Limited, which trades as Print Warehouse, on Tuesday (20 August) after it fell into difficulties as a result of poor cashflow.
They said the seven-staff Rayleigh-based company had struggled to meet its payment obligations to creditors and the HMRC, which subsequently looked to take action against it in light of the arrears.
The administrators said they have conducted a valuation of the business and its assets and have now undertaken a marketing campaign.
“Negotiations are continuing with interested parties in order to seek a going-concern sale and to secure the business going forward, protecting employees and customers,” said Simon Plant.
Established in 1985, Print Warehouse turned over around £500,000 last year. The company operates Canon and Ricoh digital printers and Mutoh large-format kit, according to its website.
It produces items including booklets, brochures, leaflets, stationery, business cards, posters and banners and offers finishing services including laminating, die-cutting, embossing, folding, wire-binding and shrinkwrapping.
PrintWeek could not reach Print Warehouse for comment at the time of writing, with its phoneline going straight to voicemail. Its current trading status is unclear.
