Lansdowe Limited, which traded as Print Warehouse, was put up for sale as a going concern after Simon Plant and Daniel Plant of SFP Restructuring were appointed as its joint administrators on 20 August.

The Rayleigh-based company had fallen into difficulties as a result of poor cashflow. It had struggled to meet its payment obligations to creditors and the HMRC, which subsequently looked to take action against it in light of the arrears.

The administrators conducted a valuation of the business and its assets and commenced a marketing campaign.

But a spokesperson for the administrators confirmed to Printweek today (12 September) that a sale “was not possible and, accordingly, the business ceased to trade on 28 August 2019”. All staff were made redundant on the same day.

Established in 1985, Print Warehouse turned over around £500,000 last year. The company operated Canon and Ricoh digital printers and Mutoh large-format kit, according to its website.

It produced items including booklets, brochures, leaflets, stationery, business cards, posters and banners and offered finishing services including laminating, die-cutting, embossing, folding, wire-binding and shrinkwrapping.
