The StitchLiner 5500 replaces an existing machine that was struggling to meet the firm’s increasing quality and volume requirements.
As a small firm, with just five-staff and increasing demands for quick turnaround, ease of use was a key consideration.
“We have a lot of fast-turnaround work and so easy set-up makes makereadies more efficient,” said managing director Fady Gremesty. “It is very easy to use for the operators and that made it an attractive option.”
Gremesty also praised the 11,000 book-per-hour machine’s large colour touchscreen controls, two-minute set-up and job storage.
The Tottenham-based general commercial printer serves a mix of local and national clients including retailers, charities and the NHS. It runs a mix of litho and digital presses including a Heidelberg SM 52 and Xerox 700.
