Xplor will also hold its UK & Ireland conference at the NEC on 2-3 April while Document Systems and Print UK are running.
Although the shows are to run simultaneously within the same hall, they will have separate registration and promotion. Organisers are confident there will be visitor crossover between the shows.
"At a recent seminar Xplor spoke about the convergence of transactional printing and graphic arts," said Print UK organiser Gary Swinford.
In addition to Document Systems, Print UK organiser Trade Events is keen to ensure exhibitors show the latest developments in digital workflow and connectivity via the internet. It has promised exhibitors a high-performance broadband connection, which it is currently working on with BT.
Another innovation for the show is proposed MIS village which it hopes will take advantage of the print production process.
