Plans made at the event, which will be held in Brussels on 19-21 November, are set to have a "dramatic impact" on manufacturing across Europe.
Among the measures that will be discussed are proposals to widen the scope for the use of labels that detail the energy use or impact of products, and new public procurement rules to favour the uptake of green products.
There will also be a revision of the voluntary eco-management and audit scheme.
Marco Mensink, CEPI energy and environment director, said: "This event will be a good opportunity for us to exchange good practices with major companies."
