The previously litho-only site has installed a DigiFold Pro combined creaser/folder, a Major folder and a CardXtra business card cutter, following the purchase of a Xerox 700 digital press last year.

According to managing director Robert Melton, the machine will handle both digitally and litho printed materials.

He said: "We needed greater speed and accuracy in finishing a wide range of work, together with the ability to provide quality finishing of heavier stocks. We can now produce business cards in a fraction of the time it took using conventional methods."

Print and Copy Centre uses the DigiFold to pre-crease the digital output and fold heavy card, while the Major folder handles high speed finishing of lighter papers.
