Steeve Roucaute started in the newly created role yesterday (30 March) and the company, which has sites in London, Sunderland, Nottingham, and Sheffield along with its digital print platform Where The Trade Buys, said his appointment would help it to grow and develop its technology strategy.
Roucaute most recently worked at Gartner Magic as quadrant leader for video conferencing, 8x8. Prior to that, he worked at Cimpress. He said he is now returning to his roots after previously working at Precision Printing from 2005 to 2016.
“I am delighted to join the Precision Proco team, managed by a leadership group having a wealth of valuable experience, great vision, and a sound strategy to steer the organisation on the path to significant growth,” said Roucaute.
“I believe that independently deployable and scalable technology will be a crucial success factor in executing our growth plan, abiding by three principles of technical excellence: teamwork, customer centricity and a data-driven mindset.”
Precision Proco Group chief executive Gary Peeling added: “Our strategy to deploy the most forward thinking and innovative technology will help cement our place as the industry’s leader in workflow automation and utilisation.
“With Steeve’s direction we will be able to drive forward our plans, including development of our in-house marketing technology, siteflow enhancements and overarching group technology programme.
“We are really pleased to have someone of his calibre as part of the team.”
Precision Printing, Prime Group and ProCo merged last year to form Precision Proco Group, a £45m turnover multi-site business with ambitions to grow sales to £100m.
