Poltera leaves Burrups for rival Bowne

Chris Poltera has resigned from his role as executive director at St Ives subsidiary Burrups to join rival financial print specialist Bowne.

As a result, John Croft takes over responsibility for the European corporate finance sales team.

"Previously Chris and John ran this together, so this is an opportunity for John to take sole charge and really make his mark," said deputy divisional director Chris Cartwright.

"We have 26 salespeople on the ground in Europe so I’m comfortable we have the accounts adequately covered."

Poltera spent a total of 26 years at St Ives, and is on gardening leave until next summer.
He said: " I am looking forward to working with a specialist and market-
driven company whose primary focus is financial documentation."
