Polestar has cancelled its supplier forum event, which was to have taken place next week(PrintWeek, 14 September).
The group cited disruption caused by the terrorist attacks in America as the reason for the postponement, and said the event would be re-arranged later in the year.
Polestar plans to maximise its spending power by forging strategic purchasing alliances with suppliers. However, its plans have not been welcomed by all suppliers. They have had a number of responses that were less than pleasant, said one.
