Glynn Limpenny, managing director of the south-east London firm, which already ran a two-colour Speedmaster 52 and a Printmaster 46, said the press would “fully meet market demands”.
He added: “We turn work around very quickly, making plates on demand, but now with the new press and single-pass full colour, we can respond even faster.”
PMS’s latest investment comes 18 months after it installed a Prosetter visible light platesetter.
Richard Bradley, marketing manager for small-format products at Heidelberg, said: “The four-, five- and six-colour B3 press has become more popular over the last decade with the increasing market demand for colour.”
