Domino has appointed David Pickford as sales manager for UK commercial printing and is poised for further acquisitions.
The firm said it was looking to acquire new businesses, though no details were revealed.
Pickfords responsibilities will include developing new business and working with established customers. He will also develop alliances with third-party manufacturers of laser and ink-jet equipment.
Pickford has 10 years experience in the printing industry, and most recently worked for D&K Europe, a manufacturer of thermal lamination systems.
He replaces David Ellen, who was promoted to European sales and service director in March, but was trying to do both jobs.
David brings extensive experience of the commercial printing industry to Domino, enabling us to maximise sales opportunities as well as build strategic alliances with OEMs, said Ellen.
Pickford will report to Ellen and will be in charge of eight Domino sales staff. He will be based at Dominos Cambridge office.
Domino received its fourth Queens Award for international trade this year.
