The Photobition Forum Action Group has resumed its website activity and discussions after being told to "cool" its campaign during the company's negotiations with banks and loan noteholders (PrintWeek, 31 August).
"We were not prepared to prejudice negotiations between the company and its lenders, and so reluctantly agreed to the cooling off period," said a spokesman for the Forum Action Group.
He said that having seen the lack of progress made during the period and the failure of any new information being given to shareholders, the campaign had resumed.
"Our focus remains that of even-handed shareholder opinion. We remain surprised that the incumbent senior management still remain in place given the wide concerns about the company," the spokesman added.
A spokeswoman for Photobition said: "The
management have no comment to make on the present situation."
Former Photobition director Bob Bushby heads the Forum Action Group, which is seeking shareholder and financial institution support for its opposition to the proposed MBO led by chief executive Eddie Marchbanks.
