The new company will seek to broaden the sales and market development of Perfected Solutions paper management software, which has been used by UK publishers such as Haymarket, and paper suppliers for more than 20 years.
Publishing Paper Solutions founder, Paul Venediger, hopes to announce the first sale of the software within the next few weeks. Venediger said the software enabled the purchaser to control printer and supplier inventory levels, and put in place established ordering practices.
Brian Whittaker, who developed the paper management software, formed Perfected Solutions in the early 80s.
Whittaker and his team will continue to develop the software and its functionality, with Venediger and business partner Chris Palmer providing user support, training and sales development.
Publishing Paper Solutions was formed last year by Venediger and Palmer, and secured its first management services contract with VNU Business Publications UK later that
year (PrintWeek, 13 July 2001). The firm has relocated to The Cottage, Apsley Mill, Hemel Hempstead.
