The new press joins another Ryobi machine, a single colour 520, at the Cambridge-based company and replaces a Ryobi 662 A2 format press.
The company has also bought a DPX System, as well as the press, through UK Ryobi distributor Apex Digital Graphics.
Parrot Print managing director Roger Broderick said makeready on the four-colour B3-format 524HXX was "significantly faster".
The press and DPX System have both been acquired by the six-staffed company for an undisclosed sum.
Broderick added: "We have recently had a lot of new work come in on the back on the new press. It has made us more economical and cost effective and we can now get larger-run work in that we couldn’t compete with before."
