The B3 landscape-format press replaces a two-colour Heidelberg SM52 and is the firm's latest addition from supplier Apex Graphics following the installation of a new platesetter.
"Customers expect an even faster turnaround of jobs," said Arrow Press managing director Tony Nash. "The arrival of the 524GX has already helped us speed up production and the fast makeready, in conjunction with the accurate plates from the DPX, means that we are into good copy extremely quickly."
Nash praised the 524GX's ability to handle stock thicknesses of up to 0.6mm, and the feeding system, which controls the inking and damping processes via a computer screen.
Arrow has produced promotional material, catalogues and stationery for agencies and companies for the past 35 years.
