The firm, based in Stoke and Normanton, aims to complete its purchase of BP Performance Films later this month.
No job losses are planned, and turnover from 750 staff will total 70m. Performance Films is based in Darton, near Barnsley, and Zlotow, Poland. It specialises in polythene products such as bread bags, nappy bags and films.
Geoffrey Stewart, Parksides managing director who led a management buyout from British Polythene Industries in 2000, said the deal complemented its paper and hard-film product line-up.
Finance director Chris Jessop added: "The Polish operation will give us a step into the European market and help us expand further. The new buy will continue to run as an independent business under the Parkside International umbrella."
The plant in Poland will be called Parkside Flexibles Poland.
Last year, Stewart began his expansion drive by buying a second Windmller & Hlscher Novoflex digital press.
