Xerox is to launch a personalisation solution based on Pageflexs variable data-software for use with its DocuColor 2000 digital colour presses.
The firms have signed a software development and licensing deal that also allows Xerox to sell Pageflexs Mpower and Persona variable data authoring software.
Pageflex has become a key strategic partner for Xerox in the areas of document customisation and personalisation, said Chris Bondy, Xerox vice president variable data products.
We have been working with Pageflex to create solutions that are internet-relevant and optimised for the DocuColor 2000. We are excited about the ability to offer customers basic or advanced solutions using the same core technology.
Pageflex software can drive most digital presses including Xeikon-based and Indigo presses. It is sold in the UK by XMedia Publishing and is also available from IBM.
