The 5140 targets corporate data centres and commercial printers with monthly print volumes of between 800,000 and 1.5m. The machine is part of the Oc VarioPrint 5000 product series and prints up to 139pp per minute.
Features include Oc CustomTone, printing resolution of 600dpi and it supports the native file formats IPDS and PCL5e.
The 5140 also holds paper stocks from 60gsm to 200gsm in formats up to A3. Finishing options including high capacity stackers, stitching and bookletmaking, can be linked to the machine.
Other products in the Oc VarioPrint 5000 range include the 5115 and 5160.
"The 5140 is a real boost of productivity for customers' printing needs," said Oc international product manager Helmut Simon.
