The new machines, which are available in 1.25m x 2.5m (GT) and 2.5m x 3.05m (XT) configurations, feature a new high definition print mode. The manufacturer claims this enables the printing of text from a two-point size, which is suitable for technical and industrial applications.
According to Océ, the new UV curing system reduces heat at the media surface by up to 50% while supporting a broader range of difficult-to-cure media.
The models, which offer an express printing mode of up to 35m2 an hour, can print onto rigid substrates up to 48mm thick. The 360 GT and 360 XT can print at a maximum resolution of 1,440dpi and also feature a roll media option for flexible materials.
