The Wem, Shropshire-based commercial printer took delivery of the press this week, which replaces a single-colour Heidelberg GTO machine.
The five-colour press, which joins two GTO presses, a four-colour and a single-colour, is expected to open up new markets for the 30-year-old printer.
NS Print managing director Reg Parsons told printweek.com that the company "will take on any work that comes its way, as long as it can do it".
The 12-staff firm is eyeing a hike in productivity with the new kit, which is hoped will increase turnover by 10 to 15%, pushing it over the £500,000 mark in the next 18 months.
"It's a brilliant piece of kit; it's beautiful and will give us an edge," added Parsons.
The Printmaster PM 52 can run at speeds up to 13,000sph and can handle work from 105 x 145mm up to 370 x 520mm and with a thickness of 0.03 to 0.4mm.
The printer produces a range of brochures, stationery and leaflets in addition to spot colour work for corporate companies.
