NJP put its plans on hold for a 40m superplant at Wymondham, after two other sites nearby became available.
According to reports in the Eastern Daily Press (EDP), Waveney district councillors approved the 25,000 sqm headquarters in Ellough at a meeting of its rural area development committee on 1 February. According to the newspaper work could commence as early as next month.
The firm now has outlining planning permission for both the Wymondham (pictured) and Ellough sites, with a third site close to Snetterton, Norfolk also under consideration. NJP is expected to make a decision on where to build in the "near future".
The greenfield Ellough location is part of a former airfield. According to report in the EDP Waveney officials are confident that "any planning obstacles can be overcome" as outline permission was granted unopposed.
