The Norwichbased firm has secured deals to print the Office2office and Jeld-Wen catalogues, both with print runs of more than 500,000.
Office2office supplies office products and furniture. The 608pp catalogue will be printed on 70gsm Woodfree Silk while work on the thread-sewn cased bound cover will be carried out at Suffolk-based book printer William Clowes.
Jeld-Wen makes windows and doors. Text on the 232pp title will be printed on 60gsm UPM Cote and the cover on 200gsm woodfree
gloss.
"These are both considerable contracts," said NJP sales and marketing director Ian Thorpe. "Our business was built on catalogue printing."
He added that NJP had narrowed down its search for a site for its superplant to one, but would not reveal the location. It had been looking at three options Wymondham, Ellough and Snetterton. Thorpe said that the final decision was "imminent".
Thorpe also denied that NJP had closed its London office and said the firm had made only one redundancy.
NJP secures catalogue print contract double
NJP has won two catalogue printing contracts and is close to deciding on the location of its superplant.
