The circa-£300,000 FB-3 flexo press, which was launched on the US market at the end of 2013, delivers a top speed of 228m/min on webs up to 350mm wide.
Sales director John Hammond said: "Although it's high-performance press, the FB-3 is very competitive on a wide range of run lengths, including short runs; the short web path allows fast job changeovers with minimum start-up waste.
"The FB-3 is aimed at high-end premium labels such as food, drink and cosmetics and also packaging thanks to its add-on functions for hot and cold foiling, screen, filmic packaging and bottle wraps.
"It's fully modular and flexible so can be adapted if your clients or markets change," he added.
Each of the printing units includes five servo systems to automate adjustments for saving, loading and changing jobs, as well as for job pre-setting, impression settings, and side register load.
The press uses either water-based or UV-cured flexo inks and runs with hot-air dryers or inter-deck UV-curing lamp units.
