The addition of the NexusProcessor and NexusRIP has improved its workflow "so dramatically" that, according to Chameleon, it is now able to offer reduced prices or additional "added-value" services.
Chameleon chose the workflow after eight months of research and will use the NexusRIP to drive each of its 11 output devices. These include Digital Cromalins, an Agfa Galileo platesetter, Agfa Avantra imagesetters and an Indigo Omnius press.
Quality executive Paul Tarpley said: "We supply plates and films to more than 300 packaging printers throughout Europe. This means we have to be adaptable enough to provide the printer with whatever film, plate or digital file format they specify, as well as the client with the type of proof they require."
The Artwork Systems package also includes NexusWebWay, NexusImport and NexusManager.
