The seminars at the newspaper industry event include an environmental panel discussion and a look at the future of news delivery.
Speaking at the environmental seminar will be David Crow, managing director of Johnston Press’ printing division, and Harmswoth Printing deputy managing Ifor Pedley.
The panel will discuss carbon footprints, energy saving and landfill contribution, among other things.
In a separate session, Johnston Press chief executive Tim Bowdler, Chris Lloyd, assistant managing editor of the Telegraph Media Group, and John Cary, senior operations director of the Chicago Sun-Times, will all be speaking on the future of news delivery.
The seminar will look at the next 10 years and analyse the extent to which print alone will be a sustainable form of news delivery.
The two-day event takes place at the Brighton Centre on 11-12 June.
