The digital printer plans to capitalise on the ground floor area of the site as the company previously operated equipment over three floors, which involved "a lot of running around and wasted time".
Steve Hallett, managing director of Repropoint, told printweek.com the firm had been at its previous site for 25 years and it was "in need of modernising". He added that the new plant offered a "much better use of space".
The company has also upgraded its plan printing kit from an Océ 9800 to a wide-format Océ TDS800, which is capable of printing up to 13 metres per minute at 400dpi.
Repropoint plans to showcase the new premises and range of equipment, including its new KIP 3000 scanner and HP Designjet Z6100 Photo Printer, at two open days on 15-16 January.
