Davies brings with him 30 years of experience in the industry in roles from consumables to press sales, including time at Litho Supplies and Shackell Edwards, as well as Komori.
Manroland GB managing director Norman Revill said: "In addition to press sales, our Printcom and Printservices divisions are playing a major role in helping to shape the future of our business so it’s great to have yet another area sales manager that can clearly articulate the benefits of this fully integrated approach to print production and press management."
Davies added that he had visited a number of printers since taking on the role and that he believed the industry is on the way back up.
He said: "I believe there is a bright future for print, as both manufacturers and printers have always been incredibly adept at developing new technologies and products to ensure print remains a core and ever-innovating communication channel."
