New Harrison Scott data arm

Print recruitment specialist Harrison Scott has responded to the industrys need for data management personnel by launching a new division which will be based at its Chester office.

Harrison Scott has around 30 staff nationally, one of whom will be devoted to data personnel recruitment. The company is looking at programming, production and data processing as possible areas for recruitment.

Guy Carter, Harrison Scotts head of direct marketing and print management, said that the company canvassed clients opinions about where they were struggling to find people.

As our direct marketing side has grown, we realised data was the one area we werent specialised in, said Carter.

Three and a half years ago Harrison Scott launched a division to handle account management recruitment within direct marketing. This sector has grown significantly since then. Carter expects the data division to emulate this.
