The Topaz blanket has a surface construction that is claimed to ensure durability even when using pigmented inks for decorative colours, or if frequent paper changes are required.
"Topaz has the ability to perform across a range of functions and can cope switches between UV and conventional inks," said Ultrachem marketing man-ager Aidan McElroy.
Ultrachem will also preview a new waterless process ink, the Eurocolour DI, which provides sharpness and adhesion even when printing onto difficult sub-strates.
Prima Foil inks for printing on foil or plastic substrates are also being launched on the Ultrachem stand (Hall 10, Stand 310), along with the QV range of inks.
A specially formulated fountain solution, Cal-Fix, can also be seen, which is said to reduce calcium build-up on rollers and blankets.
