The course is one of three one-day courses organised by the Paper Trail, and held in its business centre on the Apsley Mills site in Hemel Hempstead.
Apsley Paper Trail training manager Chris Palmer said the aim of the course was to provide industry professionals, both in paper and print, with a better appreciation of how the two combine.
"Hopefully this will enable people to make more informed decisions about their choice of paper," he said.
In addition to the paper appreciation course, the Paper Trail is also in discussions with a major paper manufacturer to set up a tailored five-day paper course.
An environmental course is also being discussed. Aimed at the end users in corporations and finan-cial institutions it would provide information on the environmental issues relating to paper, such as certification.
"Our USP is our location, close to London, but on the site of the first Fourdrinier paper machine," said Palmer.
