The Bristol-based business said that, during a demonstration at DecTek – which has eight Titanium cutters – it could see the benefits of the kit, and that ROI would be achieved in a short period of time.
The company particularly praised the speed, accuracy, and quality of output achieved across a wide range of materials.
Nick Holland, director at N3 Display Graphics, said: “We had looked at a range of cutting machine manufacturers to add additional capacity to our existing Zünd but, after thorough testing and following a visit to DecTek, the Titanium 2516 stood out as robust, adaptable, and very competitively priced.”
The device, which was subsequently purchased from Monmouthshire-based supplier International Graphic Supplies (IGS), was installed in August.
“The IGS team managed the installation and training for the new cutter including optimising our Onyx workflow for the specific production needs and tasks of the varied customer requirements we receive daily,” said Holland.
“We are delighted with the machine so far which has allowed us to significantly expand and take on new customers.”
The machine features an automatic precision cutting tool, enabling the exact cutting depth to be achieved quickly, precisely, and efficiently, IGS said.
Meanwhile, a high resolution registration camera ensures cutting printed jobs accurately to register while a range of speciality tools supplied with the device offer speed, power, and the flexibility to handle a variety of materials, such as corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, coating blankets, textiles, wood, Dibond, and a wide range of plastics.
IGS managing director Peter Flynn added: “I’m delighted to see N3 are already enjoying the many benefits of a Titanium cutter.
“As Nick identified, our price/performance is hard to match. It’s also pleasing to hear that the Titanium brand is now being evaluated against the traditional market leaders. This powerful combination is allowing us to build a very impressive portfolio of customers, since the first install at Booths Printers in Falmouth in February 2019.”
