The Mutoh ValueJet 1324 and 1624 machines, which offer print widths of 1371mm and 1625mm respectively, are being pitched at companies producing quality display signage, marketing collateral, banners and backlit signage.
Both the 1324 and 1624 can output at resolutions up to 1,440dpi with output speeds of up to 28sqm and 29sqm an hour respectively.
Each machine prints using Mutoh's four-colour Eco Ultra inks and features the company's patented I² Intelligent Interweaving print technology.
This is claimed to increase print speeds and help eliminate banding while improving accuracy and consistency of dot size and dot release during printing.
Available to order immediately, the machines will retail for around £11,000 for the ValueJet 1324 and £15,000 for the ValueJet 1624 configuration.
Stewart Bell, managing director of DPI, said: "We are certain that the quality, reliability and price of the new Mutoh ValueJet 1324 and 1624 printers will impress signmakers and print service providers alike – all of whom are very welcome to attend."
DPI will host two open days on 9-10 November at its new innovation centre in Derby while Mutoh distributor Colourgen will also host an open day on 27 October in Maidenhead.
In addition to the Mutoh ValueJet 1324 and 1624 models the company will showcase the Jetrix 2513 FRQ Flatbed, Seiko W-64S, Kona Cutter, Epson Stylus Pro11880 and Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 machines.
