The firm began the move over the Christmas period, and the 4,500m factory will be up and running within a fortnight, with the offices expected to be occupied in mid-February. "It's better planned than the Normandy invasion, it won't affect one hour of production," said Multigraphics managing director Gary Lasham.
In conjunction with the move to Bradford the screen and digital specialist has also invested in a Vutek PressVu UV 200/600 SC large-format digital press.
As part of its continued growth the 8m turnover firm has appointed Robert Lerwill as chairman and Suzy Frith as non-executive director.
Lerwill is also chief executive of Cable & Wireless Regional, which has a turnover of 1.5bn, and is also a non-executive director of Aegis, the global media buyer and market research firm. Frith is managing director of Citigate Dewe Rogerson.
"Genuinely I'm amazed that people of such stature want to come and help us run our business," said Lasham.
Yesterday (12 January) was the anniversary of Lasham's 10m MBI of the firm. He said that during the last 12 months there had been a host of changes culiminating in the doubling of its client base and the increase of turnover and staffing levels by 10%.
