Morgana Systems produces 25,000th machine

Morgana Systems' Milton Keynes manufacturing facility has produced its 25,000th machine.

The landmark Autocreaser 50 will be installed at one of Morgana's US dealers, E.Thomas Brett of Pennsylvania.

Morgana managing director Quen Baum said the milestone was important for the group because the Autocreaser was the first machine that kick-started the company's success over the past 10 years.

Initially, the group had manufactured folders and numberers, but it launched the Autocreaser to serve the digital sector.

"Everyone appreciates that digital output cracks when folded, and that it has to be pre-creased, but the AutoCreaser was the first product to provide high-speed automated creasing at an affordable cost," he said.

"There is still a high demand for it and it will continue to be an integral part of our range for the foreseeable future."
