Hillsong Church, a musical worship band, wanted a bright silver finish on the cover and backpage of their CD booklet.
In response, Reading-based Metal Paper applied a bright silver metpol to one side of its Steinemann Lotus laminator. The booklet was then printed on Creative's Heidelberg SM74 press.
Metal Paper's Steve Livesey said: "It is because of our manufacturing set-up that we are able to receive customers' own sheets and laminate them with their choice of metpol.
"We realised last year we had a solution to the old text/cover problem, where it is important that the printed result on the inside front and back covers of a booklet matches the print on the text."
