The independently-owned magazine features high quality imagery, photo-stories and contributor copy with a focus on travel destinations and food.
The inside pages of the quarterly, 140pp magazine are printed on Antalis McNoughton's uncoated 140 gsm Challenger offset stock while the cover is printed on 300gsm Challenger offset with matt laminate finish.
Volume One of the £10 per issue magazine officially launched this month, along with a website and blog, with Taylor Brothers completing the second of two 1,500-issue print runs. Volume Two is already scheduled for a larger print run in March.
The magazine's founder and editor Rosa Park said Cereal had been created with the goal of making a quality, collectable product.
She added: "These motivations are what prompted us to go with a thicker gsm for both the cover and the text pages - we love the weight and feel of such paper - and we also chose the matt laminate finish for the cover for extra protection.
"Cereal was produced for those with a passion for food and travel and for readers who value print and the tactile experience that comes with it."
Taylor Brothers printed the magazine on its Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 74 four-colour press with in-line coating unit.
Account manager Shaun Cooper said that winning the contract to print Cereal was a result of the success it had achieved with its production of quarterly cylcling enthusiast publication Boneshaker, which it has printed since 2010.
The litho print printer is set to expand its offer in the coming months with an investment in a new digital press with finishing and booklet-making equipment, details of which are due to be announced soon.
