The agency has published seven downloadable PDF guides for employers covering a range of topics from overcoming the mental and physical challenges of returning to work and advice on getting the most out of some of the mainstream communication and collaboration platforms.
There are also best practice guides on conducting onsite and virtual interviews.
The guides were launched last week and are free to download and share and require no registration to access.
“The whole point of this is that if the industry does well then we’ve got a good market to operate in, so we’re deliberately being, I suppose, altruistic,” said Mercury managing director Dani Novick.
‘When we recruit, we offer a professional service and charge a fee for it, but things like this are for the benefit of all.”
The business had previously been sending out informal guides to clients and has worked historically with clients to offer bespoke redundancy support to staff, covering things like CV writing and interview preparation.
As well as the downloadable guides, the firm’s website now also lists the additional bespoke support it offers to clients from developing talent pipelines, interview process appraisals and psychometric testing to salary benchmarking.
The free downloadable guides in the post-Covid-19 resources series include: Returning to Work; Navigating the OnSite Interview Minefield; Virtual Interview Essentials; Google Hangouts; Microsoft Teams; Skype; and Zoom.
